About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including expenses, invoices, and payments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across systems
  • Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable activities
  • Support customer invoicing and accounts receivable tracking
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist with data entry for general ledger and accounting systems
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping
  • Support payroll data entry and coordination as needed
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the accounting team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and accessible documentation
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support daily operations
  • Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned to support the finance and accounting function

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working with financial data and systems
