About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the incorporation of the local entity in Cameroon
Open and manage local bank accounts and register with relevant regulatory bodies
Grow the FX and blockchain payments business
Act as the local face of the company and manage strategic partnerships
Monitor local and regional developments in FX regulation and blockchain adoption
Work closely with global operations, compliance, legal, and finance teams
Serve as nominee director for the local entity and oversee ongoing administrative tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking, FX, blockchain, or fintech
Solid understanding of the regulatory environment in Cameroon (COBAC/BEAC)
Demonstrated success in launching new products or markets
Strong commercial negotiation skills
Fluent in English and French (required)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-starter comfortable operating in a startup environment
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
