About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy under the supervision of a licensed clinician, in accordance with your university requirements and scope of training.
Maintain a weekly clinical schedule that meets both university internship requirements and Mamaya Health expectations.
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within organizational timeframes.
Develop treatment plans and monitor client progress with supervisor guidance.
Utilize measurement-based care tools and standardized assessments when appropriate.
Participate in individual and group supervision, case consultation, and training activities.
Coordinate care with other providers and supports when clinically appropriate.
Attend required team meetings, training, and internship-related educational opportunities.
Maintain professional, ethical, and culturally responsive standards of care.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's program in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Eligible to complete a clinical counseling internship as required by your academic program.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical, client-centered, and trauma-informed care.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and actively engage in clinical supervision.
Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice.
Interest in women's mental health, perinatal mental health, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, perimenopause/menopause, or other Mamaya specialty populations.
