About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy under the supervision of a licensed clinician, in accordance with your university requirements and scope of training.
- Maintain a weekly clinical schedule that meets both university internship requirements and Mamaya Health expectations.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within organizational timeframes.
- Develop treatment plans and monitor client progress with supervisor guidance.
- Utilize measurement-based care tools and standardized assessments when appropriate.
- Participate in individual and group supervision, case consultation, and training activities.
- Coordinate care with other providers and supports when clinically appropriate.
- Attend required team meetings, training, and internship-related educational opportunities.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and culturally responsive standards of care.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's program in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Eligible to complete a clinical counseling internship as required by your academic program.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, client-centered, and trauma-informed care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and actively engage in clinical supervision.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice.
- Interest in women's mental health, perinatal mental health, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, perimenopause/menopause, or other Mamaya specialty populations.
