About the role
- Deliver against revenue targets and drive strong financial performance across your territory
- Build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities, managing them effectively through the sales pipeline
- Engage customers in meaningful dialogue to understand their challenges and position tailored, value-driven solutions
- Partner closely with the Field Applications Team to deliver compelling technical demonstrations and support the sales process
- Represent Malvern Panalytical at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events, enhancing brand presence and generating leads
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and ensure CRM data is up to date to support effective business planning
- Champion customer satisfaction by acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring a high-quality customer experience throughout the lifecycle
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or molecular biology sectors
- Experience selling capital equipment (CAPEX), particularly analytical instrumentation, is highly advantageous
- Proven ability to work with and manage distributor or channel partner networks is desirable
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at multiple stakeholder levels
- Proficiency in CRM systems, with experience using Salesforce preferred
- Solid understanding of academic, industrial, and molecular biology market landscapes
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to confidently navigate financial and contractual discussions
- Full UK driving license, with willingness to travel 50% as required
