About the role
- Review government RFQ’s for the Department of State.
- Reaching out to Vendors/SubK to request quotes.
- Review quotes to make sure all aspects of the RFQ’s are met and there are no mathematical errors.
- Create and Process Purchase Request (PR) for each RFQ received from the government.
- Send the PRs to the Deputy Program Manager (DPM) and Program Manager (PM) for review/approval/submission to the government.
- Create and Process Purchase Orders (PO) for each of the government approved PR’s.
- Send the POs to the Deputy Program Manager (DPM) and Program Manager (PM) for review/approval then to the Vendor/SubK.
- Track all PRs and POs for approvals, funding, and closeout, Among other duties requested by supervision.
Requirements
- at least two (2) years of experience in procurement related activities.
- at least three (3) years of experience in a Facilities Maintenance related field.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in Arabic (Jordanian) and English.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail business software.
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team.
- Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimum supervision.
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail.
