About the role
- Content Leadership & Quality: Serve as the team lead for content creation, setting the execution standard and ensuring all outgoing short-form video content meets the highest standards of technical and creative excellence.
- Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical skills in filming, editing, tool usage and effective exploration of tools and social platforms to guide the content creation team.
- End-to-End Production Ownership: Own and drive the entire process, including ideation, shooting, and editing of high-quality, short-form video content specifically designed for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Speed-to-Culture Execution: Drive the team's ability to execute on reactive trends and cultural moments within a "Speed-to-Culture" workflow, ensuring the brand maintains a topical and engaging presence.
- On-Set Management: Independently manage all on-set production requirements, including advanced setup of lighting, audio, and equipment, and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate closely with the Social Strategist to develop original video series, evergreen content concepts, and compelling editorial narratives, advising on feasibility and production needs.
- Post-Production Oversight: Oversee all post-production elements to ensure video quality, proper platform specifications, and consistency with the client's brand guidelines.
- Trend & Innovation: Stay on top of global and local trends, sharing strategic insights and leading team experimentation with new creative approaches and video formats.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience creating awesome work for top brands, preferably with a mix of in-house and agency creative production experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a mentorship or team lead capacity within a content creation or social media team.
- Expert proficiency in using specific editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) and proven ability to lead high-quality video production and shooting.
- An excellent storyteller with the ability to create engaging, conversational, and culturally resonant editorial narratives in a simple, coherent manner.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and a self-starter with a track record of successfully managing high-volume content demands and tight deadlines.
- A strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals and familiarity with relevant Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills.
