About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of a multimillion-dollar portfolio of national corporate accounts and related cause campaigns and fundraising programs
  • Develop and enhance corporate partnerships through strategic planning, relationship building, communication, collaboration, and negotiation
  • Conduct regular communications with all stakeholders
  • Negotiate corporate contract renewals and collaborate with legal counsel when necessary
  • Create and maintain partnership activation plans, impact reports, marketing plans, and stewardship for the assigned portfolio
  • Analyze industry trends and market data, focusing on marketing activation, employee engagement, and corporate giving
  • Analyze the assigned portfolio according to performance, revenue, in-kind resources, media exposure, partner benefit, return on investment, and growth potential
  • Explore innovative ways to enhance national partnerships and increase organizational revenue and awareness
  • Manage and implement corporate activations in accordance with Foundation guidelines, BBB standards, and state-mandated Commercial Co-Venture regulations
  • Protect the Make-A-Wish brand by guiding national partners and ensuring performance, Brand Guidelines, BBB, UBIT, and PICS requirements are upheld
  • Oversee local chapter implementation of national partner campaigns and in-kind programs
  • Develop marketing templates and chapter support materials; gather chapter assets and reports for partners
  • Act as point of contact for partner issues
  • Enter and maintain information in Salesforce and run corporate account portfolio reports
  • Participate in team meetings and provide partnership strategy insights and recommendations
  • Lead special projects and committees as assigned
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of corporate sales and or fundraising business development, marketing, sales, strategic alliances, or a related field; strong preference for non-profit experience in a chapter-based model
  • Experience and demonstrated success in account management including relationship and budget management, as well as creation and execution of non-profit fundraising/marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive revenue
  • Strong passion for corporate partnerships and marketing
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Experience in Salesforce or a similar platform for managing accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking, sales, and presentation skills
  • Possess strong verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills
  • Possess excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential donor/client/employee relationships and handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Better Business Bureau standards regarding charitable solicitations desired
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • High standards of ethics in conducting job-related activities
  • Team player with eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
  • Able to handle multiple projects under pressure
