About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the execution of automated test suites and support reporting of results
- Support maintenance of automated test scripts under guidance
- Identify and document defects found during automated testing with supervision
- Assist in creating basic automated test cases for simple functionalities
- Participate in daily standups and team meetings
- Learn and apply test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Support documentation of test results, issues, and processes
- Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from senior engineers
- Build foundational automation skills through mentorship and training
- Contribute to reducing manual testing efforts by supporting automation activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts
- Basic knowledge of any programming language (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with automation concepts is an advantage
