About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Completes routine database operational tasks under supervision
- Executes backups, exports/imports (Environment Refresh), and basic scripts following defined procedures
- Completes on-premises database installation, configuration, and patching activities with guidance
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation
- Performs on-premises database troubleshooting and issue identification
- Resolves client on-premises database maintenance tickets
- Track assigned tasks and maintain accurate ticket updates
- Communicate progress and status updates clearly to the team
- Follow established processes, standards, and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL concepts
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is an advantage
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows)
