Participants will take part in an eight week-long program aimed at providing the basic tools, knowledge, and understanding of the ticket sales world
Attend weekly virtual training sessions led by members of the MLB Ticketing Department and sales executives from across MLB
Participants will be placed in the pipeline for all MLB and MiLB clubs to access and engage with when looking to fill new entry level sales positions
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and will be considered for entry-level sales positions across MLB and MiLB
Requirements
This series of training is unpaid and is free for selected participants.
Currently enrolled as a student at a four-year college or university, community college, trade school, or a recent graduate of any entity
A desire to work in sports beyond the field with a focus on sales
Exceptional interpersonal ability, including being prepared to nurture relationships and manage communications remotely with a wide range of individuals
Intrinsically motivated, reliable, and outstanding work ethic
Strong written and oral communications skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to attend weekly virtual sessions via Zoom
