About the role
- First point of contact for our customers in Siemens PLM support for the Solid Edge product
- Documenting, analyzing and prioritizing customer inquiries and finding solutions in our IT ticketing system
- Handling inquiries and incident reports by phone and actively assisting customers in problem resolution
- Escalating more complex issues to higher-level support teams
- Installation, configuration and commissioning of end-user software
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or a degree in a technical field (e.g., technical product design, mechanical engineering) or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in a help desk or a related technical support role
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Knowledge of IT technologies (networks, servers, Windows operating systems) is desirable
- Strong communication skills in German and English
