About the role

  • First point of contact for our customers in Siemens PLM support for the product Solid Edge
  • Documenting, analyzing and prioritizing customer inquiries and finding solutions in our IT ticket system
  • Handling inquiries and incident reports via telephone and actively assisting customers in troubleshooting and solution finding
  • Escalating more complex issues to downstream or higher-level support teams
  • Installation, configuration and commissioning of end-user software

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in a technical field (e.g., technical product design, mechanical engineering) or an equivalent qualification
  • Career changers with a technical background and a strong interest in topics such as digitalization and cloud applications are also welcome
  • Experience in a help desk or related technical support role
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Additional knowledge in IT technologies (networks, servers, Windows operating systems) is desirable — but not required
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
