About the role
- First point of contact for our customers in Siemens PLM support for the product Solid Edge
- Documenting, analyzing and prioritizing customer inquiries and finding solutions in our IT ticket system
- Handling inquiries and incident reports via telephone and actively assisting customers in troubleshooting and solution finding
- Escalating more complex issues to downstream or higher-level support teams
- Installation, configuration and commissioning of end-user software
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in a technical field (e.g., technical product design, mechanical engineering) or an equivalent qualification
- Career changers with a technical background and a strong interest in topics such as digitalization and cloud applications are also welcome
- Experience in a help desk or related technical support role
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Additional knowledge in IT technologies (networks, servers, Windows operating systems) is desirable — but not required
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
