About the role

  • Lead the operational launch of our business in new jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Develop, document, and implement operational frameworks, including banking and payment integrations, KYC/AML processes, risk management, and compliance workflows.
  • Own and maintain detailed project plans – task lists, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables – with full execution discipline.
  • Create and maintain full project documentation to ensure governance, compliance, and structured execution when launching new businesses.
  • Generate management information (MI) and reports to provide clear insights for your direct reporting line and the executive team, ensuring transparency in progress, risks, and key metrics.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in expansion frameworks, operational processes, and performance metrics, driving efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage key external relationships with regulators, banking partners, PSPs, and service providers to support smooth market entry.
  • Develop scalable playbooks for launching in new jurisdictions, ensuring efficiency and consistency across expansions.
  • Drive go-to-market readiness, ensuring internal teams and infrastructure are aligned for full business activation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management with proven records of successfully managed projects of business set up or operations launch in different jurisdictions (EU, MENA, etc.)
  • Good understanding of financial services/fintech/crypto, including regulatory environments, transaction flows, and KYC/AML fundamentals.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Strong decision-making skills with a track record of taking responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Proactive Mindset: Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to think outside the box for unique project challenges.
  • Willing to document all aspects of the project for record keeping.
