About the role

  • Collaborate with product, web, and QA teams to design, implement, and deliver technology solutions.
  • Design and implement solutions utilizing AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS.
  • Develop API-first solutions for web and mobile teams, applying patterns like Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and Backend-for-Mobile (BFM).
  • Take full ownership of tasks, from initial product requirements through to successful delivery to production with QA.
  • Set and model high technical level standards for the team, and support deployed solutions in production after Go-Live.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python (preferred) or any JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala, Groovy, Clojure), .Net, or Go.
  • Practical experience with any public cloud platform, with AWS being strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • 3+ experience in FinTech/ financial/banking.
  • Experience supporting applications in production environments and working within a DevOps culture.
  • Practical experience with serverless solutions.
