About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
  • Performing front-end, rapid evaluations of patients in conjunction with the triage nurse to facilitate care.
  • The experienced candidate must be able to make rapid decisions about care.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful completion of an accredited APP program
  • Active Maine Advanced Practitioner's license
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in an ED setting
  • Certification: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Maine State Board of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Maine State Board of Nursing
