About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multiple projects across departments—including IT, IS, Pharmacy, Imaging, Finance, strategic initiatives, workflow improvements, and site transitions.
- Contribute to large-scale, system-wide initiatives alongside fellow PMO team members.
- Develop and manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify and coordinate resources needed for project success.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Lead project teams, mentor stakeholders, and proactively resolve conflicts.
- Apply project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.) to ensure strong execution and outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven success managing projects and leading teams, ideally within healthcare or another dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex group dynamics and build consensus.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite) and organizational methods.
- Understanding of project management frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.) and the ability to apply them flexibly.
- A collaborative, curious mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- PMP certification and/or a bachelor’s degree in a related field are valued but not required.
- Experience in an Epic-integrated system is valued but not required.
- Ability to work independently while engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
