About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Knock on doors and talk with voters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Care about protecting Maine's environment and building a fair and healthy future for all Mainers
  • Enjoy talking with people and listening to different perspectives
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Able to motivate and support volunteers
  • Comfortable using a phone and basic digital tools
  • Able to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Able to travel within an assigned area and have reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance; a driving record check may be conducted
  • Access to a personal smartphone with reliable service for calling, texting, and coordinating during shifts
  • Previous organizing, canvassing, customer service, community outreach, or volunteer experience is helpful but not required
  • Positions range from 20–40 hours per week through November 6, 2026
  • Temporary, at-will, non-exempt position
