Credentialing Specialist

• Verify healthcare providers’ education, licenses, certifications, training, work history, and professional references
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records for accrediting bodies, government agencies, and insurance companies
• Ensure providers hold valid, active licenses in the states where they practice
• Maintain organized records to mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks
• Track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, malpractice insurance, and other required documents
• Maintain a streamlined credentialing process for new providers, nurses, and health professionals
• Work closely with partners to resolve challenges and deliver thoughtful, timely, personalized service
• Coach, mentor, or guide team members and lead by example

License and Credentialing Specialist

Clinical Coordinator

• Serve as precept and mentor to new oncology nurses and provide ongoing support for clinical questions, therapies, and care delivery systems
• Provide remote chemotherapy order and chart verifications and assist with nursing assessments
• Assess, triage, and manage clinical calls for the Cancer access line
• Coordinate between onsite nurses, non-clinical coordinators, and the oncologist
• Submit and track prior authorizations for chemotherapy, supportive care medications, and diagnostics
• Assist the oncologist with medication, diagnostic, and outbound referral orders
• Process molecular testing orders, prescription refill requests, and miscellaneous clinical requests
• Coordinate with onsite pharmacists on cost-effective inventory management
• Assist with clinical education initiatives
• Assist with patient referrals to community, financial, and insurance-related resources
• Identify and recommend clinical process and quality improvement opportunities
• Oversee clinical integrations during new site launches
• Occasionally serve as an onsite nurse for clinic and infusion days
