About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- work remotely 20 hours a week
- serve as the primary Salesforce administrator supporting a live client environment
- own day-to-day platform operations, user support, and configuration updates
- manage a structured cadence of enhancements and issue resolution
- translate business requirements into system changes that improve usability, reporting, and operational efficiency
- maintain data integrity, ensuring the platform remains stable and well-governed
- continuously optimize configurations to align with evolving business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a production environment
- Active Salesforce Administrator certification required (Advanced Administrator a plus)
- Strong experience with user management, security model (roles, profiles, permission sets), and data governance
- Proficiency in Flow automation, reporting, dashboards, and core platform configuration
- Experience supporting regulated industries (utilities, energy, or government) preferred
- Ability to work independently in a part-time consulting capacity with minimal oversight
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively
