About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner directly with IRS stakeholders to identify where Agentforce can automate or augment critical business processes
- Translate those needs into precise user stories, agent instructions, and process models, ensuring AI behavior is secure, grounded, and policy‑aligned
- Play a key role in AI governance, validation, and change management as federal users begin working alongside autonomous digital assistants
- Facilitate structured discovery workshops with IRS stakeholders to identify and prioritize processes suitable for automation using Agentforce
- Document detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agent Instructions (prompts) to ensure AI behavior aligns with IRS policies and constraints
- Develop clear as‑is and to‑be process flows, highlighting where AI agents can reduce manual effort or improve data accuracy
- Define and support AI testing and governance practices, including grounding validation and participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure agents operate within security, compliance, and hallucination‑prevention boundaries appropriate to a federal environment
- Create training materials and change documentation to help IRS teams effectively adopt and work alongside autonomous digital assistants.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) or Public Trust clearance (required)
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst and Certified Agentforce Specialist Certifications are required
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, including at least 1 year focused on AI‑driven solutions or automated workflows
- Practical experience working within the Agentforce framework, including defining Topics and Actions
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, especially how data feeds and constrains agent behavior
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Flow, representing the actions executed by AI agents
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart for requirements, traceability, and visualization
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts such as grounding, reasoning, and guardrails to federal leadership.
