Junior Product Layout Designer, Junior Graphic Designer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit and update existing print marketing materials such as postcards, menus, flyers, posters, and other promotional pieces.
- Prepare art files for press and print standards, including packaging natives and exporting press-ready PDFs.
- Resize, adjust, and repurpose existing artwork for different formats and marketing needs.
- Verify that marketing products uphold design standards and follow instructions received in requests from the customer and Project Coordinator (PC).
- Thoroughly proof artwork and abide by established design standards and print specification checklists to ensure error-free material.
- Effectively communicate with coworkers via email, direct message, phone, or face-to-face.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred (but not required) 2-year degree or more from a college or technical school in Graphic Design or related area of study.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook or similar email client, Adobe Acrobat, and web browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
- Strong ability to receive and handle in-depth constructive criticism
- Ability to proof artwork for spelling, accuracy of content, and overall design
- Time management and organization skills
- Professionalism and attention to detail
