About the role

  • Utilize professional selling techniques and product knowledge to market MAHLE products to Key Warehouse Distributors
  • Manage all aspects of the customer base to develop additional new business
  • Establish effective, long-term relationships
  • Lead business planning and strategy determination for sales growth
  • Perform market research on various products & competitors
  • Make recommendations on sales promotions
  • Interact with key cross-functional areas such as Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain
  • Provide training on MAHLE product technology as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3-7 years previous Automotive Aftermarket Sales or related experience
  • Knowledge of gaskets, engine parts, filters, and turbocharger applications
  • Experience and understanding of the aftermarket distribution channels (Warehouse Distributor, Engine Parts Specialist)
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify and sell win-win scenarios
  • Must be a results-oriented, self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated track record of working with customers, peers, and management to accomplish both long- and short-term goals
  • Strong time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
