About the role
- Play a key role in driving profitable pricing decisions for the AP region.
- Manage selling price calculations, analyzing market and cost impacts, and ensuring accurate pricing set-up across systems.
- Work closely with Sales, Controlling, Product Management, Purchasing, and Global Pricing teams to optimize contribution margins.
- Maintain data accuracy and support strategic pricing initiatives.
- Check product data (MAPIM), analyze market information, and calculate selling price using price matrix.
- Handle AP pricing topics including quarterly pricing change reports, follow-up on adjustments, and documentation for global meetings.
- Set up pricing in ERP system (MAA / MAPL / MTJ).
- Review market price and propose tier price offers aligned with Sales Head.
- Prepare pricing reports as required by MEs or Sales.
- Collect TSP/market price, calculate TPP, and maintain data in MAPIM or via email.
- Prepare pricing analysis and annual price list proposals using billing and market information.
- BP ratio alignment with AP entity via Controlling and MEs Head.
Requirements
- Good teamwork with interpersonal skill, result-oriented, multi-task and strong follow-up.
- Good office skills, such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost structures, financial ratios, and pricing models.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, PowerQuery, nested formulas) for large pricing datasets.
- Experience with ERP pricing modules (SAP / S4ME / MAPIM or similar).
- Understanding of transfer pricing, selling price structures, and contribution margin calculations.
- Ability to analyze market pricing trends and propose competitive selling price strategies.
- Familiarity with TPP / MSP / BP ratio concepts and their application in pricing decisions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Controlling, Purchasing, Product Management).
- High accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining pricing data across systems.
- Ability to work with global counterparts and manage regional pricing alignment.
- Strong numerical reasoning and comfort working with complex price simulations or impact analyses.
- Ability to prepare pricing dashboards, reports, or summaries for management.
- Knowledge of basic financial terminology: gross margin, net margin, cost breakdown, transfer price, logistics cost.
- Experience handling large SKU portfolios or multi-country pricing structures (preferred).
