About the role

  • Keep processes within established standards.
  • Monitor production and participate in productivity, quality, and safety improvement initiatives.
  • Attend the daily production meeting and follow activities on the shop floor.
  • Support the Machining technical area by providing training and ensuring process alignment.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation (PFD, PPC, PFMEA).
  • Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data and propose actions to improve quality metrics.
  • Identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields, with active CREA registration (Brazilian engineering council).
  • Advanced English, with the ability to participate in meetings and interact with international teams.
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment, with a focus on CNC machining processes.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, Six Sigma).
  • Hands-on knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Proficiency in process statistical analysis and control tools (e.g., SPC).
  • Availability to work on-site in Jaguariúna, São Paulo (SP).
