About the role
- Manage and control manufacturing operations to ensure product quality, production efficiency, manpower development, safety, and continuous improvement
- Drive PDCA, problem-solving, waste elimination, and production innovation to achieve manufacturing goals
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Monitor product quality, lead problem-solving activities, and drive PDCA for continuous improvement
- Manage manpower, assign tasks, and develop operator skills through training and coaching
- Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are in good working condition and support uninterrupted production
- Improve production processes, eliminate waste, and implement KAIZEN, 5S, and standard work
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support new product or process changes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct routine inspections in production areas
- Maintain production reports, quality data, and essential documentation (SOP, WI)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, PDCA, Lean, KAIZEN, and 5S
- Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills (5 Why, Fishbone)
- Effective communication, coordination, and decision-making abilities
- Familiar with safety standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and deliver consistent results
- Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Siam Filter Systems Co., Ltd. – Kingkaew 33, Samut Prakan
