About the role

  • Responsible for procurement and sourcing activities in alignment with production plans and purchasing requirements
  • Oversee import-export operations to meet customer demands and enhance production efficiency
  • Inventory control, raw material planning, demand forecasting, purchase order management, and timely material delivery
  • Liaise with domestic and international vendors to obtain product and service information, including pricing, specifications, and lead times
  • Conduct price negotiations and resolve shipment discrepancies for both PM (Production Materials) and NPM (Non-Production Materials)
  • Support NPM users in coordinating with foreign suppliers regarding quotations, delivery schedules, and related documentation
  • Coordinate with shipping agents to plan and manage the importation of goods from overseas
  • Review import documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Prepare and submit necessary import documents (e.g., Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin) to shipping agents
  • Monitor shipment status and collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Management, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement
  • Good command of English communication skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of raw material purchasing, import-export procedures, and customs clearance
  • Familiarity with production processes and ISO standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
  • Willingness to work on-site
