About the role
- Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees at the plant, providing proactive advice and support on all HR matters.
- Handle all tasks related to operational HR administration, e.g., drafting employment contracts and employment references.
- Support and implement HR measures in accordance with legal, contractual, collective bargaining and internal requirements.
- Contribute to workforce and succession planning in the assigned area and manage individual compensation decisions based on job evaluation.
- Support the optimization and harmonization of HR processes within the team.
- Participate in local and strategic HR projects.
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, ideally supplemented by further training/certification as an HR specialist.
- Several years' experience in HR administration or prior experience as an HR specialist in a company in the metal and electrical (M&E) industry.
- Solid knowledge of labor law, collective bargaining regulations and social security legislation.
- Quick comprehension combined with a structured and independent way of working.
- Strong strategic thinking, conceptual strength and project management skills.
- Very good written and spoken English.
