About the role
- Take global responsibility for the strategic management and continuous optimization of foundry production processes
- Hold strategic responsibility for all technical aspects of in-house processes across global plants
- Develop, maintain, and further enhance global process standards and guidelines
- Prepare and update process documentation and ensure international implementation
- Lead process reviews and consistently follow up on improvement measures
- Analyze complex quality deviations and derive sustainable, long-term solutions
- Strategically develop and manage supplier relationships and build a high-performing supplier portfolio
- Ensure technological advancement in collaboration with external partners
- Lead cross-functional projects for process optimization and standardization
Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgy or Foundry Science
- Extensive experience in process and production technology within foundry engineering
- Proven expertise in managing complex projects and collaborating with international stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of process analysis, quality management, and global standardization
- Strong ability to understand complex technical contexts and develop practical, implementable solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with decisiveness in challenging situations
- Proficient in MS Office and basic database applications
- Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis and to work in dynamic environments
