  • Execute static and dynamic analysis, employing optimisation techniques to effectively modify designs and meet project targets swiftly.
  • Assess global stiffness, global modes, and dynamic stiffness to ensure robust designs.
  • Conduct model updates to correlate and validate operational NVH performance with simulation outcomes.
  • Incorporate variability considerations into simulations to enhance model accuracy.
  • Evaluate the effect of system-level performance on overall vehicle performance, identifying potential improvements.
  • Create process documentation for system-level NVH simulations and optimisation.
  • Utilise optimisation tools, such as Mode Frontier, to advance noise and vibration performance metrics.
  • Develop new design validation plans (DVPs) that preemptively address NVH issues at the system level.
  • Deliver system-level DVPs for multiple projects while adhering to timelines and NVH performance criteria.
  • Implement design solutions that take into account manufacturability, cost, and time constraints, while consistently achieving system-level NVH performance across diverse projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in automotive NVH analysis and simulation.
  • Proficiency in full vehicle finite element (FE) model building using Altair Hypermesh.
  • Experience in conducting static and dynamic analysis and optimisation using software such as MSC NASTRAN, MSC ACTRAN, and Altair OPTISTRUCT.
  • A proven track record in NVH behaviour analysis with a focus on automotive systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LMS/Virtual Lab for comprehensive simulations.
  • A postgraduate degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset capable of identifying and addressing system-level issues proactively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative design solutions.

Benefits

Comp & perks
