About the role
- Complete month-end close tasks relating to closing the GL
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit
- Lead documentation-related projects
- Assist with preparation of external financial reporting documents and internal controls documentation
- Provide project management support on key initiatives
- Prepare reconciliations for the monthly GL close and support the Controllership team
- Support Accounts Payable by reviewing and approving expenses and entering bank information for payments where applicable
- Support special projects as required
Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics (specializing in Accounting is considered an asset but not required)
- Analytical mind and enjoy finding solutions to complex problems
- Love numbers, analyzing large datasets, and building financial models
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with smart and interesting people
- Ability to provide examples demonstrating Magnet CODE: CARE, OWN, DEDICATE, EVOLVE
