About the role
- Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP and interpret the impact of new standards; Actively support month-end and quarter-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; Preparing account level fluctuation analysis; Serve as a key liaison for the company’s external auditors
- Revenue Accounting: Apply ASC 606 to evaluate and account for complex SaaS revenue arrangements; Assist in developing and maintaining revenue recognition policies and procedures
- Cross-Functional Projects & Support: Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects; Act as the primary accounting point of contact for select business processes or initiatives; Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce risk.
Requirements
- CPA designation or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm and/or within a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience with ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment with an ability to prioritize deadlines
- Required to work EST hours to accommodate the business
