About the role

  • Lead and support SAP PP solution design, configuration, and deployment across manufacturing operations
  • Act as functional team lead for SAP PP initiatives, guiding junior consultants and coordinating delivery activities
  • Own and optimize production planning, and execution scenarios
  • Manage and enhance PP master data , including: Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Routings
  • Production Versions
  • Support Production Order Management , including creation, execution, confirmations, and settlements
  • Drive and support MES integrations , ensuring seamless data flow between shop floor systems and SAP
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
  • Participate in solution testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, and go-live support
  • Provide clear documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer to business users
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders across levels

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of hands-on SAP Production Planning (PP) experience
  • Proven experience as a team lead or functional lead on SAP implementations (managing 1-10 team members)
  • Strong expertise in: SAP PP with MRP, shop floor control, planning strategies
  • PP Master Data (BOMs, Routings, Production Versions)
  • Production Order Management
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SAP PP with MES systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities
  • Experience integrating SAP PP with detailed scheduling tools (preferred)
  • Exposure to SAP Quality Management (QM) integration with PP (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) processes (preferred)
  • Experience supporting or leading data migration activities (master and transactional data) (preferred)
  • Experience in multi-plant or global manufacturing environments (preferred)
