About the role
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across all entities
- Lead core accounting functions, manage reporting cycles, and serve as the key finance partner to leadership
- Play a critical role in strengthening financial processes, driving automation, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation within Sage Online
- Lead and support finance team members in a remote working environment
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of accounting experience in a senior or leadership role
- Strong experience in multi-entity accounting environments
- Mandatory experience with Sage Online
- In-depth knowledge of UK VAT and financial compliance
- Proven experience in the hospitality industry
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
