About the role
- Own the development of new user-facing features end-to-end
- Track and implement the latest interaction patterns for AI-driven tools
- Interact with users to understand their problems and design solutions
- Act as part of a design team until we have that function
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to continually increase the impact of our product
- Help maintain a robust, scalable design system — React, Tailwind
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software-engineering experience
- Fluent in TypeScript/JavaScript (we use React) and comfortable in Python
- Design experience or great intuition about UI/UX
- Can select the right tool for each job, balancing speed and scalability
- Can take a loosely defined problem, extract the true requirements, and design and deliver a production-ready solution
- Communicate clearly with both engineers and business stakeholders
- Thrive in an early-stage, high-ownership environment
