About the role
- Provides non-medical, short term, solution-focused counseling to military service members and their families
- Participates in health fairs and other base activities
- Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field
- Licensed as a Social Worker (LCSW), Therapist (LMFT), or Mental Health Counselor (LPC/LCHMC)
- Experience working in a school setting for CYB role
- Advanced knowledge of brief therapy and solution-focused counseling methods
- Ability to prove US Citizenship and must be fluent in English
- Willing to accept assignments with short notice
