About the role

  • Analyze and approve or reject payment requests to suppliers, reimbursements, settlement of advances, corporate card expenses, petty cash funds and other company obligations;
  • Review invoices, contracts and supporting documents, ensuring fiscal, tax and contractual compliance;
  • Review and approve or reject supplier registration for payment;
  • Provide support and clarify questions regarding payments, documentation and deadlines;
  • Ensure adherence to payment deadlines, respecting cash flow, internal policies and approval authorities;
  • Support periodic updates to Treasury internal policies and related areas;
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence when requested;
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement, mitigating risks, addressing bottlenecks and identifying automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields;
  • Previous experience in finance (Treasury/Accounts Payable and Receivable);
  • Excel skills at least at an intermediate level;
  • Basic knowledge of indirect taxes and withholdings (ISS, INSS, IRRF, PIS/COFINS, as applicable);
  • Understanding of internal controls, compliance and governance;
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model, on-site 4 to 8 times per month in downtown Rio de Janeiro. If you are a MAG employee residing outside Rio, work should take place at the MAG unit closest to your residence with the same frequency.
  • Knowledge of Tax Reform is desirable, especially operational impacts on invoice and payment processing (Split Payment);
  • Work collaboratively with tax, accounting and finance teams;
  • Experience with high volumes of payment processing and analysis.
