Community Engagement Manager
MAG (Airports Group)Community Engagement Manager responsible for implementing sustainability strategies and supporting community programmes at Manchester Airport under MAG. Collaborating with stakeholders and representing the airport at community events.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver relevant aspects of the Group Sustainability Strategy at an airport level
- Develop and inform airport community programmes
- Work with external stakeholders to deliver community support projects
- Deliver implementation of community mitigation schemes
- Support formal engagement with key community stakeholders through forums and consultative committees
- Represent the airport at community events in the towns and villages close to the airport
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to speak confidently in public and produce high-quality written communication materials
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage and work to deadlines
- Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders
- Highly developed listening skills
- Ability to work in challenging environments and deal with conflict sensitively and confidently
- Flexibility to sometimes attend events on evenings and weekends
