About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute PR initiatives that propel and differentiate the MadHive brand in market, including press releases, talking points, events, executive speaking opportunities, awards and more
- Drive increased awareness and improved company positioning across a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Ensure messaging is differentiated, consistent, defensible, clear, and actionable
- Manage media monitoring and competitive intelligence, measuring share of voice, tracking and reporting of PR activities and metrics
- Create thought leadership including the development of executive articles and placements
- Oversee events and speaker strategy for company presence at owned and industry events, including speaker strategy, talking points, prep calls, and more
- Developing and nurturing strategic relationships with key external partners, including agency partners, event organizers, industry organizations, outside agencies, sister company executives, etc.
- Building a plan to prove PR and communication impact, defining, aligning on reporting, supporting platforms, success metrics and communicating impact on a quarterly basis.
- Scale trade advertising initiatives across site advertising, newsletters and more.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years Public Relations/Corporate Communications experience, preferably with an ad tech, advertising agency or technology company
- Proven track record of working with members of the media to secure press coverage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong storyteller with a passion for technology, digital marketing, data, innovation and start-up culture.
- Strong speaking, business writing and editing skills – able to write clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences clients, employees, reporters/editors, investors.
- Experience supporting and counseling C-suite level executives.
- Highly organized with ability to drive projects forward proactively
- Ability to distill complex and highly technical messages and ideas into meaningful content
- Ability to work fast-paced environments, flexible and able to adapt to changing scenarios, someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done.
