About the role

  • Execute multi-channel content marketing programs including web content, blog posts, email campaigns, social content, and visual content strategies based on established strategic frameworks
  • Write clear, persuasive, inclusive, original copy in multiple styles, formats, and voices for websites, social channels, email, and more
  • Listen to and learn from clients, becoming the resident expert in their stories, contexts, audiences, and KPIs. Translate that institutional knowledge into compelling content that drives results
  • Conduct content research including competitive analysis, audience research, keyword research, and content audits to inform execution and support strategic recommendations
  • Research, organize, and prioritize content based on cohesive channel promotion strategies (SEO, social, email, paid media)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SEO, design, and paid media to align content execution with holistic digital strategies
  • Track and report on content performance and engagement to measure impact and identify optimization opportunities
  • Edit and proofread content following best practices for digital content
  • Develop user personas, editorial calendars, and content roadmaps that align with brand positioning and client goals
  • Support the development of creative briefs, content strategies, and content intake questionnaires
  • Flex up to strategic thinking by connecting execution insights to bigger-picture recommendations and identifying new content opportunities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a digital/interactive content strategy or content marketing role
  • Strong copywriting portfolio demonstrating the ability to write in a diversity of voices across multiple client types
  • Experience executing content marketing programs across multiple channels (web, blog, email, social)
  • Proven ability to manage content projects from planning through execution and reporting
  • Experience conducting content audits, competitive analysis, and audience research
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how content supports search engine performance
  • Familiarity with developing editorial calendars and content roadmaps
  • Comfortable working with data to track performance and inform content decisions
