About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively target and acquire new clients by identifying market trends and key industry opportunities
- Present Macrobond’s platform capabilities to prospects, demonstrating the value of our integrated data and analysis tools
- Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate closely with customer success and support teams to maintain and grow client accounts
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with Macrobond’s global strategy
- Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities in specific sectors, regions, or themes that align with Macrobond’s data offerings
- Understand client challenges and requirements to offer tailored solutions using Macrobond’s data products, including API integrations and automated workflows
- Provide demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and support in closing deals
- Work alongside the marketing, product, and research teams to ensure clients have access to Macrobond’s chart packs, thematic analysis, and weekly market insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS and financial services
- Has experience in selling into Singapore, Southeast Asia and India
- Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data driven solutions to the investment community
- Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota and market share goals
- Excellent networking ability
- Skilled Solution seller with proven ability to build win-win proposals
- Able to prospect remotely into those markets from Singapore
- Ability to speak Thai/Bahasa will be a plus
