About the role
- Lead, coach, and support a team of approximately 10 Data Specialists.
- Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and actively support individual development.
- Motivate employees and maintain a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, shift work, absence coverage, and workload balance.
- Build a culture of feedback, ownership, and continuous learning aligned with Macrobond values.
- Lead daily team operations including work planning, task prioritization, and delivery follow‑up.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of data updates, maintenance tasks, and internal/external requests.
- Monitor operational performance through regular check‑ins, dashboards, and key metrics.
- Reassign work during absences and proactively manage operational risks.
- Build team understanding of how Data Operations impact Product reliability and Customer experience.
- Ensure high‑quality data delivery aligned with Macrobond product and service standards.
- Oversee data disruption alerts for accuracy, relevance, and timely communication.
- Monitor handling of customer inquiries (e.g.: correct assignment, quality of investigation, and resolution).
- Ensure proper use and follow‑up of automated update and quality tools (e.g. consistency checks, monitoring tools).
- Identify recurring issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with other Team Managers and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and dispatch work across locations when required.
- Actively support process changes, new tools, and operational improvements.
- Communicate change clearly and consistently to the team.
- Monitor and report team performance, operational progress, risks, and improvements to Division Manager.
- Contribute to regular summaries and internal updates related to data delivery and operations.
- Represent the team constructively in cross‑team discussions and initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant experience, preferably within the Data Operations area (formal people management experience is an advantage).
- Understanding of leadership principles, people development, and performance management.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accountability, ownership, and integrity.
- Spoken and written English - at least B2/C1 level.
- Willingness to learn, develop, and continuously improve yourself and your team.
- Familiarity with basic macroeconomic concepts is a plus.
