About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As Head of Marketing, play a critical role in positioning Macquarie Data Centres as a leader within the global data centre ecosystem.
- Drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and high‑value demand generation across both wholesale and retail channels.
- Design and execute integrated marketing programs spanning digital, social, traditional, and event‑led campaigns.
- Build a strong web presence that drives traffic, conversion, and qualified sales opportunities.
- Shape go‑to‑market strategies, develop compelling value propositions, and deliver marketing programs contributing to pipeline growth and revenue.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years + demand generation and marketing management experience
- Previous experience owning and managing the marketing function inclusive of budget with an eye on Marketing RoI
- Previous experience developing, executing and managing a marketing function with specific experience in the IT B2B industry
- Demonstrated expertise in SEO, SEM and AI-Driven discovery channels, with a proven track record of providing visibility, organic performance and demand generation across both the traditional search and generative search environments
- Experience designing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- Demonstrated ability to generate and convert Marketing and Sales Qualified Leads (MQLs/ SQL's)
- Experience managing marketing automation and CRM platforms
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams including sales, product and external agencies
- Ability to develop compelling messaging, content and value propositions for B2B audiences
- Strong reporting and analysis capability, with a focus on performance optimisation
