About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for end‑to‑end accounting, reporting and financial control across key balance sheet and treasury‑related areas of the Group.
Take ownership of treasury accounting, lease accounting under AASB 16, capital expenditure accounting and forecasting.
Handle financial accounting for individual business units.
Key contributor to monthly trading packs, balance sheet integrity, intercompany accounting and FX accounting.
Support system improvements and broader finance projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

CA or CPA qualification
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, particularly AASB 16, AASB 121 and treasury‑related standards
Experience across financial accounting, treasury accounting and balance sheet reconciliations including but not limited to consolidation entries and credit journals
Proven experience with capital expenditure accounting, fixed asset registers and cash flow reporting
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within tight reporting deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
2-4 years accounting experience in a medium to large organisation would be preferred but not essential.
