About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned positions, including intake meetings, recruiting strategy development, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define success profiles, establish recruitment strategies, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Source and engage qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews while assessing technical qualifications, competencies, and alignment with organizational values.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process, ensuring an exceptional, transparent, and engaging candidate experience.
- Develop equitable hiring practices by implementing structured interviews, competency-based evaluation tools, and consistent selection processes.
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs while advancing Macmillan Learning's diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive and equitable compensation recommendations in partnership with Human Resources.
- Recommend and implement improvements to recruiting processes, workflows, tools, and documentation that increase efficiency, consistency, and hiring effectiveness.
- Analyze recruiting data and key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Represent Macmillan Learning at career fairs, networking events, virtual recruiting events, and professional organizations to build awareness and attract top talent.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle talent acquisition or recruiting.
- Demonstrated experience developing recruiting strategies and managing multiple concurrent searches across various business functions.
- Strong organizational, project management, and follow-up skills with the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
- Experience implementing recruiting process improvements and driving operational excellence.
- Experience working successfully within a remote or distributed team environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
