About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Secure and manage speaking engagements, lectures, workshops, and event appearances for authors and talent.
- Develop and maintain relationships with conference organizers, universities, corporations, libraries, and other event partners.
- Negotiate speaking fees, contracts, and engagement terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align speaking engagements with book launches, audiobook releases, and marketing campaigns.
- Track bookings, contracts, revenue, and performance metrics.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in talent representation, publishing, speaker relations, public relations, events, business development, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with the publishing, audiobook, media, or education industries
