About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a pivotal role in building high-value, long-term relationships with key clients in the existing Data Center market.
- Open doors, establish credibility with targeted organizations, and serve as the first point of engagement.
- Focus on strategic account targeting, organizational mapping, and creating warm handoffs that accelerate the sales cycle.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in data center operations leadership roles.
- Advance client relationships from cold introductions to warm, active opportunities.
- Transition qualified opportunities to internal technical sales teams to develop and close business.
- Manage accounts through an established five-stage relationship model.
- Collaborate with Oregon leadership to refresh annual target account lists.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in business development, strategic sales, or client relationship management within the Technology sector, preferably Data Centers.
- Proven success turning new relationships into profitable, long-term partnerships.
- Regional business development experience in Oregon strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Highly skilled at building relationships and earning trust.
- Strong verbal and written communicator.
- Strategic thinker with sound problem-solving skills.
- Organized and effective at managing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
