💰 $130,000 - $170,000 per year
About the role
- Responsible for successful completion of HVAC controls and energy-related projects including scoping of work, estimating, scheduling, project management, commissioning, performance verification, project closeout, and owner acceptance
- Financial forecasting and delivered results for assigned projects, inclusive of securing utility incentives
- Manage communication with project team, utility company representatives, and customers during all project phases
- Confirm work direction provided to engineers, system technicians, balance technicians, electricians, administration assistants and subcontractors as necessary
- Provide technical support for the sale of building controls, energy and commissioning projects, manage customer meetings, develop riser diagrams, scope of work development and pricing
- Review specifications, submittals and design documents to ensure complete scope of work and minimize costly changes
- Perform and/or manage detailed estimating of Building Performance Group services
- Evaluate contractual scope of work and impacts of client bulletins, field directives and scheduling changes; communicate technical and business related issues to clients and internal stakeholders
- Reports to Lead Project Manager (Stephen Wilson) and interacts with all levels and functions within the organization
Requirements
- A track record of delivering controls projects on time and on budget
- Expertise providing technical support to all team members and working constructively with all personnel working on the project
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent work experience in electrical/mechanical building systems and project management duties
- United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certifications are a plus
- Able to effectively interact with customers, field personnel, sales, and office staff
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
- Able to accurately and calmly handle multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
- Motivated by helping projects come together and working in a lean, results-oriented environment
