About the role
- Improve the operational performance of customers' buildings through data-driven analysis and actionable insight
- Analyze building system data, identify performance issues, and translate technical findings into clear recommendations
- Work closely with customers, field technicians, and internal stakeholders to prioritize issues and support corrective actions
- Deliver measurable improvements in comfort, reliability, and energy performance
- Act as the primary facilitator of analysis and communication with existing and new customers
- Operate in a service-driven environment and take ownership of customer outcomes
Requirements
- Mechanical field experience equivalent to a 4th-year union apprentice or higher, with hands-on exposure to commercial HVAC systems
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Professional certifications such as CEM, CMVP, or BCxP (Building Commissioning Professional)
- Analyzing BAS and operational trend data to evaluate HVAC system performance
- Identifying and diagnosing system-level performance issues across air-side and water-side systems
- Supporting continuous commissioning or fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) efforts in occupied buildings
- Collaborating with technicians, engineers, or operators to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience with Niagara or Siemens software, IT networks in the built environment, or mechanical system design is a plus.
