About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with team members, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design effective frontend solutions
- Take technical ownership of entire software projects, ensuring frontend architecture and applications are robust, accessible, and user-friendly
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of frontend code (Angular) to production
- Build and maintain reusable components within our Design System and Component Library
- Ensure all user-facing features meet WCAG accessibility standards
- Produce clear, detailed documentation - including component usage guides, architectural decisions, and code comments
- Investigate and resolve frontend issues based on customer and stakeholder feedback
- Champion frontend best practices and accessibility standards by following clean, standardised coding conventions
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Actively contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development, primarily with Angular.
- Proven experience working with Design Systems and Component Libraries.
- Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and assistive technology support.
- Strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, HTML semantics, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Ability to design and implement frontend solutions based on requirements and design specifications.
- Experience with testing and verifying code.
- Excellent in both written and verbal communication, particularly for technical documentation.
- Experience with GitHub and Jira.
