About the role

  • Create visual text and imagery concepts, by hand or using computer software, and communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
  • Develop and shape the overall layout and production design for the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, corporate reports and more.
  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
  • Communicating with Creative Director about layout and design.
  • Handling the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
  • Test graphics across various media and amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven graphic design experience.
  • Experience as a graphic designer, demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Video editing and Motion Graphics design experiences preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
